How do I import MRI properties into Dottid

Thanks to Dottid's partnership with MRI, you can import your properties and their data from MRI into your Dottid account. For the integration to run accurately, you must identify the properties you want to import. If you already have properties active in Dottid you will need to match your MRI properties to the corresponding property in Dottid via the Property Settings page.

What should I do before importing MRI properties into Dottid

How do I import MRI properties when I don't have any properties in Dottid

If you don't have any properties in Dottid, you can import your MRI buildings into Dottid.

  1. Log into Dottid and click on your avatar in the bottom left-hand side of the screen and click Settings.

  2. Now click on the Integrations tab and select MRI, then click on Property Settings.

  3. The Property Settings page will display a list of buildings in your MRI account. To import your MRI buildings, suites, and deals into your Dottid account, click Create New on the right-hand side.

  4. You will now see the pop up below. Fill out all the required items and click Create Property.

  5. The property will now appear in Property Settings as Matched.

    1. Note that the property will remain in Unpublished status until it is activated.

    2. Also note that suite and deal information does not immediately appear in the property and will be imported overnight when the integration runs the nightly synchronization.

How do I import MRI Properties when I already have properties in Dottid

Already have properties in Dottid that you want to connect to MRI? Follow the steps below to match your MRI buildings to existing Dottid buildings in your account.

  1. Log into Dottid and click on your avatar in the bottom left-hand side of the screen and click Settings.

  2. Now click on the Integrations tab and select MRI, then click on Property Settings.

  3. The Property Settings page will display a list of buildings in your MRI account. You will have two options, Match to Existing or Create New. Click Match to Existing.

  4. A pop-up appears with the selected MRI building at top and a list of Dottid properties to choose from. Select the matching property in your Dottid account and click Match.

  5. The property will now appear in Property Settings as Matched.

    1. Note that the property will remain in Unpublished status until it is activated.

    2. Also note that suite and deal information does not immediately appear in the property and will be imported overnight when the integration runs the nightly synchronization.

How will new MRI properties appear in Dottid

When new properties are added to your MRI account, they will appear in the Property Settings page. Check your property settings whenever you have added a property in MRI and make the appropriate selections to either Create or Match the property in Dottid.
